Are You One of the Chosen?
The Bible says, “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes” (Eph. 1.4 NLT).
Therefore, to be one of the chosen, do four things:
1. Believe in his works. The Bible says, “If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him” (John 10.37,38 NKJV).
2. See yourself as a sinner. In the Bible the lost son says, I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you” (Luke 15.18 NLT),
3. Have faith that Jesus died and rose again. The Bible says, “This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him” (Acts 2.23,24 NIV).
4. Pray this prayer: Dear Jesus, I believe you died and rose again to give me eternal life. Forgive me for all of my sins. Please be Lord of my life. Amen.
